  3. Before visiting Egypt I saw Anthony Bourdain showcase this dish also and had to try it. I finally was able to visit in early 2018, and a kind perfume merchant reeled me in and in the process of separating me from my cold hard cash, his son (at my request) got me a bowl of Koshari. It was like cat nip, I could not stop eating it. It was so delicious. Thank you for sharing this recipe, will have to try it to relive that experience!
