  3. So true about the cabs. Horrible. And they absolutely pick rides. Use UBER

  4. This is an amazing video with so much informative tips! I, too, went to Paris as a young child, so I want to see it again through adult eyes! Thank you!

  5. There are loads of amazing places to eat in Paris!? Don't forget lots of Parisians eat there!!!!

  6. Very informative, thank you! I never tried Paris Uber, I may do so in the future.

  7. Paris is wonderful, just try to avoid Hotel Westminster Paris at all costs. I've booked directly from Hotel Westminster website their Deluxe 25m room and received 11,8m room (N. 114) with dirty old bathroom and rotting carpet instead. Europe has zero consumer protection….In any other country this would be unimaginable and would have been rectified by the management at once, but at Hotel Westminster Paris lying to clients is a norm. Bait and switch without apologies or price reduction for much cheaper room. Management will tell you it is all your fault , the room is exactly what you deserve and it is all your misunderstanding. Crooks and liars pure and simple. You have been warned dear travelers.

  8. Happens here in New York too and I feel bad seeing tourists getting scammed. I think being from bigger cities will always prepare you for folks like this, but small town people are usually the ones to get scammed.

  9. I'am Indian and also live in Paris . What you say it's the truth of this "lovely" city.

  10. Your tips are so helpful!! I’m glad i came across your video, Thank you!

  11. Extremely misinformed video, she’s exaggerating everything. Paris is an amazing city, with amazing food and the most beautiful walking routes in the world between sights.

  12. I have been to Paris just two times yet. Fortunately I did not have to deal with shaking off any scammers. If at all, somebody tried to look at me…I just ignored as I knew trouble will come, if you smile or being friendly to these people. In Rome we were approached by men and women. I just told my travel partner to ignore and walk…no turning back.

  13. Hi I was there for month taxi is not advisable…rest of them what u said is correct…cheers…

  14. Scammers?
You should see the New York film critics!!

  15. happened to me the 50 euro. they blocked my family behind ang were agressive had to give away the 50 euros 🙁

  16. Just got home from Paris and loved every second of it. The people were wonderful . Didn’t run into one scammer , although they are in every country so just use your head . Don’t agree with the taxi drivers , I found them delightful and informative . Steps are a thing in Europe. I have never climbed so many stairs than I have in Europe. Go and enjoy it , I absolutely love Paris and would recommend it to anyone ❤️

  17. I just left Paris two weeks ago, I didn’t experiences no scammers at all, I had a great time.

  18. I lived in Paris for studies for 5 months as a Dutch person and I have some tips. You can take the public transport to many places and even if you have no plan everything is 20/30 min away from each other with the metro (in the citycentre). If you are staying longer I recommend a Navigo card!

There are indeed a lot of pickpockets sadly. Always have your phone or wallet somewhere where you can feel it or tucked away in your bag. I have witnessed it many times that people don't look out and their phones get stolen without them realizing. Luckily mine never got stolen!

Some touristic places will let you in for free or skip the line if you are under 25/26, a student or European, just check online to see what the rules are. I went in for free at the louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Arc de Triomf and Versailles and many more. Going to the movies is also pretty cheap, the movie theater in Bercy is only 4.50 euros, compared to a movie ticket in the Netherlands which is around 11/13 euro's.

Please prepare for some of the unfriendliness of Parisians, I recommend to try to speak french, they will definitely appreciate it. If you want to go party in Paris, be prepared to have some backups, as they will stop you from entering only based on your looks or just because they don't like you. Tip is: Look for parties online on facebook, as this is what I did all the time. This is also how you find all the cool french parties! Partying is expensive tho…

Hopefully these tips help as well!

  19. I always wanted to visit Paris , very useful information. Thank you.

  20. To be polite in France is to show respect not to be overly friendly.

  21. I went to Paris last September with my husband (his first time, my second) and omg with those scammers at sacre coeur. I literally had to scream at them to leave my husband alone when they were grabbing his wrist to put a bracelet on.

  22. you want me to talk about scam and dealers in new york this girl do not know what shes talking about france got 90 millions tourists a year then there is 90 millions of crazy people ? this video is just shit yes there some scam sometime but its not new york or bombay
